To me... It's about:
Waking up one day to find yourself not the person you wanted to be at this time in life. Realizing you were stuck in a routine, then you got older, married, settled- soon forever came.
- You quit pushing yourself and nothing changes about your life.
- You realize you're not the person you used to be or wanted to be.
- You face that no one is begging you to be with you anymore, no one's bothering you- your life is predictable, but you can't ignore that you've changed.
- You realize your life has become a stagnant routine and now you're old- you've missed out on your youth and what you wanted life to be.
- You realize all the beauty around you that's been there all along and you've missed it, like a rose bush that you walk past every day.
- Then you look at your "happy ending" and realize it's empty- you've settled for a life that's not what you want.
- And you think God wants you to be truly happy- not just possibly happy.
- So you want to wake up from the mundane and change your whole life
- You think you can get rid of the desire you feel for more, but in doing so you've lost yourself.
- You face that no one is begging you to be with you anymore, no one's bothering you- your life is predictable, but you can't ignore that you've changed.
- You realize your life has become a stagnant routine and now you're old- you've missed out on what you wanted.
- You understand you've made your choices and you must stick to them, what's done is done
- And you give up realizing the life you wanted you can never have.
- So you think, what do I do now? Can I change the life I have, did I think it through?
- You realize all the beauty around you that's been there all along and you've missed it
Well... That's just my interpretation. :)
